Work At Home Mom Revolution

Hey, y'all! We're here now! And one of these days, I may even post a new blogroll...

BLOGLIGHTS!!!!
What is this?

Work at Home Mom Revolution:
I'm not sure how Lisa found me, but she commented on my blog one day and gently reprimanded me for not having an RSS feed to subscribe to. She was very kind about it, and it was just the kick in the pants I needed to get my feeds up and running. I've been a big fan of hers ever since, and reading her blog is gonna make me RICH, right???

Walking Kateastrophe:
Well, it's no secret that Kate is my nearest and dearest friend. She's stuck by my side (though, alas, only electronically by my side at this juncture) through thick and thin. She's actually the person who introduced me to blogging at all, and hers was the first blog I ever read and "followed" in any regular kind of way.

Virtual Sprite:
Now this is one that I can't for the life of me remember how I found--but I remember that I found her--likely through a comment on someone else's site. The first post of hers that I read was about trying to diagnose her son's almost certain diabetes, and the mess that she went through with the doctors and their total disinterest in what she saw as an obvious emergency. This caught my eye because I went through the EXACT SAME THING with Bubba a year ago!

The View From Here:
Gunfighter from The View From Here actually happened upon my blog via a comment that I'd left somewhere, though he never specified where. He's been a dear friend ever since. Not only that, but through his blog I've met many other dear friends! I love that he calls his blog "the view from here" because he really does have a different perspective on so many things, and I always love hearing his view.

The Verge:
Jennifer from The Verge is a recent acquisition to my blogroll. Finding her went like this: I saw a comment on Suburban Turmoil that really spoke to me, so I went to the blog where it had been left. On that blog, I saw a comment from Jennifer that caused me to click on over to her blog. And, oddly enough, I lurked there for a couple of weeks. Why I never said "hi" I don't know! It's very out of character for me! Eventually, though, I DID leave a comment and I've been commenting there ever since.

Unquiet Heart:
Sadly, I don't remember how I found Jessabean from Unquiet Heart. But what I DO remember is that at the very same moment I was commenting on her blog for the first time, she was commenting on my blog for the first time. Crazy, huh? I wish I could remember what sequence of events led me to her blog in the first place. Whatever they were, I'm so glad that I ended up there, and that she ended up here. I'm always inspired by what she has to say.

Underachieving Mommy:
I followed a comment chain to find Nanette of Underachieving Mommy, and when I got to her site and found that she's not only witty and fun, but also practically my neighbor, I started commenting there and a friendship was born. She's a lot of fun to read, and certainly NOT an underachiever in her mothering!!!

Theory of Thought:
The Thinker began commenting on my site very close to the beginning of my blog's existence. Her first comment was on a post of mine that was published on Indiebloggers, and since she's a fellow Indieblogger, I presume that's where she found me. I'm not certain of this, though... Anyway, to the best of my knowledge, she's the only teenager on my blogroll. At 17, she puts most of the rest of us to shame with her wit and creativity.

Temporary? Insanity:
Kimberly of Temporary? Insanity began commenting on my blog, stating that she found me through Millie's sidebar, and that she loved my Thornbirds for Mormons post--she apparently understood the craziness of it! She's been a great friend ever since. I can't get enough of her site--I'm there every single day and ALWAYS highly entertained.

(What is this?)

Soccer Mom In Denial

With a name like that, wouldn't you love her too? Allison from Soccer Mom in Denial jumped into my blog life in full swing a couple months back, announcing that she'd found me through Gunfighter's blog (I TOLD you that Gunfighter had introduced me to some awesome people!) I love Allison's blog, and I love that I get an email from her in response to almost every comment I leave there. (Among the things I love in her sidebar is a note about how she's a fag-hag, along with a ticker announcing at any given moment how much the Iraq war has cost us...)

Skindiver

I found Chesca from Skindiver through comments on Butrfly's site. She just seems like the nicest, kindest person with a heart of gold. Hers is a site that I check every single day and can't get enough of. She too has the magical abilities to respond to every comment! Where she finds the time, I can't imagine, but it's always fun to go back and check through the comments to see what she has to say to you in response!

The Road Lester Traveled

Honestly, I have no idea how "Cathouse Teri" ended up at my blog. She just showed up one day! Maybe you can fill in the details, Teri? Anyway, she's been a dear sweet friend. She's incredibly supportive of me and has given me wonderful advice (both solicited and UNsolicited, hahaha). She's fun and funny and even though I do not understand her obsession for certain highly offensive words, I love her anyway!
